2000

Felder Machinery Imports began its life as a part of The Wooden Edge Fine Tools and Hardware a locally family owned woodworking supply business located in Brandon Manitoba. In the beginning the focus was on the Hammer range for the advanced hobbyist and small production shops.

2002

The word of the quality and usability of the Hammer range quickly spread and larger shops soon began requesting information on the availability of larger machines to boost their production ability, increase their quality and maximize profitability.

In order to facilitate this growing market Felder Machinery Imports Canada is born and is appointed the sole distributor of Felder Machines in Western Canada..

2004

To provide better service to our customer base and to be closer to transportation facilities the business is relocated to Winnipeg Manitoba. The new showroom has sufficient space to display a variety of Hammer, Felder and Format 4 Machine as well as woodworking machines, tools and accessories from leading manufactures.

2006

The response and desirability in owning one of the Felder group’s woodworking machines necessitates the move to a larger facility. The new space located at 1360 Church Avenue in Winnipeg, features a larger showroom and more warehouse space to accommodate the growing number of stock machines and machine accessories that need to be kept on hand to fill orders on a timely basis.

2007

To meet the growing demand for Felder machines in Alberta and the Columbia Valley in BC, a regional showroom is opened in Calgary.

2008

A third branch is opened in Nanaimo BC to better service customers located on Vancouver Island and in the lower mainland of British Columbia.
